Banda Aceh, July 7, 2025 – The Physics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Syiah Kuala University (USK) warmly welcomes the official decision by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT): The Master’s Program (S2) in Physics now holds the “EXCELLENT” designation, the highest national accreditation. This official announcement reaffirms the department’s long-standing commitment to providing high-quality postgraduate education.
This achievement was made possible through the hard work of all academic staff in the Master’s Program in Physics, strategic support from the university and faculty leadership, and solid collaboration with the Accreditation Team. The rigorous preparation process ultimately resulted in the highest recognition from BAN-PT.

The Excellent Accreditation strengthens the position of the USK Physics Master’s Program as a benchmark for advanced physics education in Indonesia.
