Banda Aceh – Departemen Fisika gelar workshop evaluasi kurikulum untuk Program Studi (Prodi) Sarjana, Rabu (12/06/2024) dan Magister Fisika, Kamis (13/06/2024). Pelaksanaan workshop menggunakan “dual mode” atau “blended” luring dan daring, diikuti oleh seluruh dosen dan staf Departemen Fisika FMIPA USK.
Kegiatan ini dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan rumusan kurikulum baru bagi Prodi S1 dan S2 Fisika yang sesuai dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, tuntutan masyarakat, serta kebutuhan pengguna.
Acara dimulai dengan opening speech dari Dr. Saumi Syahreza, S.Si., M.Si. selaku Ketua Departemen Fisika sekaligus Koordinator Program Studi Sarjana Fisika. Sedangkan pada hari selanjutnya kegiatan di buka oleh Prof. Dr. Muksin, M.Si., M.Phil selaku Koordinator Program Studi Magister Fisika.
Kegiatan tersebut berlangsung selama dua hari dengan pemateri berasal dari Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) yaitu Dr. Melania Suweni Muntini, MT. Pada kegiatan tersebut beliau memberikan tanggapan dan masukan terhadap kurikulum yang telah berlangsung selama ini pada Prodi S1 dan S2 Fisika FMIPA USK.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, beliau juga menyampaikan beberapa materi penting lainnya seperti penyusunan rencana pembelajaran semester setiap mata kuliah yang direncanakan menggunakan Kurikulum OBE mulai dari membuat identitas rencana pembelajaran semester, deskripsi mata kuliah, menetapkan capaian pembelajaran sampai penyiapan asesmennya.
Dengan dilakukannya evaluasi kurikulum yang telah berlangsung selama ini, diharapkan Departemen Fisika FMIPA USK dapat mendesain dan menyusun kurikulum baru yang dapat meningkatkan mutu akademik lulusan Program Studi S1 dan S2 Fisika.
Acara diakhiri dengan sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab, ditutup dengan penyerahan sertifikat penghargaan untuk narasumber dan sesi foto bersama secara virtual.
